Our winter semester internship 260041 PR Computational Quantum Mechanics is a good place to get to know us.
We have two basic fields of work:
1. Application of VASP to current problems in materials research
Required: Solid basic knowledge in solid state physics and thermodynamics. Programming knowledge not absolutely necessary.
2. Development of new methods for VASP
Required: Enjoy mathematics and theoretical physics, interest in quantum field theory, programming knowledge

Your first step into your studies begins with U:SPACE
U:SPACE is the portal for students of the University of Vienna and offers you central access to all services related to the organization of your studies.
Since 1st of March 2016, you can apply for admission to winter and summer semesters in U:SPACE for studies with admission procedures, Master's and doctoral/PhD studies. Since 1st of April 2016, this has also been possible for Bachelor programs without admission procedure.

As a prospective student you have to register in U:SPACE. On the login page you will find the link that will guide you through the registration process. You can then apply for admission in the portal.
Are you or have you already been a student at the University of Vienna?
As a student, you can log in to U:SPACE as usual, select your desired course from the list of studies offered to you and apply for admission immediately.
